WZ Baseball 2014

I've always been competitive in any webzone fantasy league I've been in, no matter the sport. Baseball is easily my best though. I might not post much(especially in the Giants forum) but that doesn't mean i lack in baseball intelligence.

I'm a fantasy beast in basketball and football, but my baseball knowledge is almost entirely based on only MLB the Show...

So far guys I KNOW are legit regarding baseball are myself, ATG, redrose.

That's cool. I respect that you want a league thats competitive. I can't stand when people stop paying attention to there lineups when things aren't going well. NinerJohn last year was a good example of what happens when you stick with your team, no matter how crappy you start out. I think changing his name to "My team sucks" turned it around for him.

You wouldn't have to worry about me not keeping up with my team.

What's the scoring setup gonna be?

Standard 12 man head to head league?

IF it was a 10 team league, how would you guys feel about this? And don't get all excited for it..or freak out about it..just throwing out ideas of stuff I've considered.

10 team league
28 players on a roster.

C,1B,2B,3B,SS,UTIL,OF,OF,OF, 5 bench

SP,SP,RP,11 bench

And here is the scoring setup..

Single, R, BB, HBP = 1 point
Steal 1.5 points
Double = 2 points
Triple = 3 points
HR = 4 points
Hit for the cycle = 10 points
Multi-HR game = 2 points
3-for-3 game = 3 points
4/4 = 4 points
5/5 = 5 points
6/6 = 6 points

K = 1 point
IP = 1 point (0.3 per out)
Quality Start = 2 points
Save = 3 points
Win = 6 points
ER= -.5 points
Blown save = -2 points
Loss = -4 points
CG = 5 points
No hitter = 15 points
Perfect Game = 20 points
15+ K's = 5 points

Like I said, just IDEA'S...a starting point. This was a leagues setup from one of my fantasy mags I have. I like it.
