I know that I am the one that made an issue about the scoring system because it was really retarded. However, it doesnt make sense now to completely re-do the draft. I have company in town, others are very busy with their studies and work, Boise isnt even around and wont be able to set his team, and really I am the only one who drafted for the wrong scoring system. I dont even know if I can make it tonight.. wife was NOT happy with me taking 2-3 hours to do that tonight with friends in.

Lets just keep the teams and change the scoring to 10 categories like we had last year. I can somehow try to get some speed and runs through trades. Its all good.

Well.. actually that isnt it. The REAL reason is time. Trust me, whether I have Albert Pujols or not isnt going to make or break me in a free league with no monetary reward. Its about time. I have company in town and then I leave for vacation. I also dont want to have a computer set my team.

And I agree with ya john, the scoring WAS rediculous...now I just dont know what to do now, We have our old league, and everyone of the teams there will have a negative impact on our trophy gallery for yahoo. I like collecting my trophies by the way....

So, that being said keep the old league. Delete the new one, especially since Boise has no idea whats going down. And we will just run with our teams we have. Here's a better solution. Take all the current rosters except for Boise who is away and set them up in the new league under a standard 5X5 H2H scoring system. Boise should be back for opening day I assume so when he comes back from his travels alert him to what's going on and once he signs up put the players he drafted manually into the league.

I dont care either about "counting against us". The only thing I really ever cared about was not having stupid categories count as much as the important ones. Anyway, I think that Ninerlifer, ATG, and I all agree that it makes sense to just move forward with the old league and adjust the scoring. Its just difficult to get a group of guys to commit to 1 draft let alone 2. Just my 2 cents..........

basically Boise isn't here and me ninerjohn and probably a few others are really too busy to do another draft from scratch.

Me and john think it would be best to just make the league standard 5X5 H2H and manually put in the players for each team from the last draft so we don't have to deal with that previous crappy scoring system.

Does that sound good to you guys?

My original team is better for the original crappy scoring system, but if it's the best we can do, I'll be fine.
