well maybe I'm wrong about Arian
But he went in the 3rd round of my 12 team draft today. I think that's way too high. I'm staying away from the Texans RB's.

Arian Foster has become massively overvalued.
Did you see him play vs. Dallas on Saturday? He will get 250 carries and can catch the ball well, too. He will be a top 20 RB.
I remember when JTO looked amazing in preseason too
Talent and opportunity are the 2 keys to fantasy - Foster is the unquestioned starter in that explosive offense and he looks great. I don't know what there is NOT to like.

Except for the fact that
a) It's a pass first offense
b) Texans running backs have a history of disappointing fantasy owners
c) Kubiak loves to rotate his backs. There is a good chance that Foster isn't even the starter the second half of the season
d) Steve Slaton
e) Steve Slaton

My prediction
Arian Foster doesn't keep the starting job for long and CJ has another insane year

I would rather have Rodgers and Foster. In fact, I do have them in my big money league. My team is so deep that Foster is currently on my bench.

This is someone not worth listening to, at least not on this topic.

Understandable regarding the pass first offense, but a solid rushing attack will only make them more dynamic.
Slaton is a situational third down back this year. He has been working on returns also which is a strong indicator that his role on offense is diminishing. Foster is the guy there, and barring injury he should stay the guy. Slaton is dealing with a toe injury also which doesn't help. Foster's handcuff right now might be Jeremiah Johnson, who has looked really good also. The Texans' run blocking is vastly improved. Kubiak loves Foster.

Well you go into a draft with a game plan. Then the board doesn't fall the way you plan and you adjust.
Kind of like the situation i'm in, in my league. Apparently was waiting 3 picks too long for Brady. Selected DeSean Jackson thinking i'd get Brady on the turn. Brady goes the next pick. Now i'm stuck with Kolb/Roethlisberger.
In hindsight, should haven taken Brady instead.

Poor argument about the pass 1st offense.
Houston passed 58% of the time (26.6 rush att/pg)
GB passed 56% (Grant 1253, 11 TD's) (27.4 pg)
Vikes passed 55% (Peterson 1383, 18 td's) (29.2/pg)
Falcons passed 56% (Turner 871, 10 td's 11 games) (28.2 att/pg)
KC passed 55% (Charles 1,120 7 td's 10 starts) (27.4pg)
Pitt passed 56% (Mendanhall 1,108, 7 td's) (26.8pg)
SF passed 59% (Gore 1,120, 10 td's) (23.2pg)
Phi passed 59% (no one guy) (24.0pg)
So last year Foster and the Texans ran just 1 attempt less per game than Ryan Grant's team, Charles' team, Mendenhall's team. More than Gore's and McCoy's. Yet i'm sure no one would mind any of those players.
Slaton failed due to fumbling problems. When given the chance last year Foster produced.
