I took my time because I thought Don is not here. Carl Crawford was my first choice when I wanted to move up, but I wasn't 100% on him either, because I already had a LF.

Chase Utley was my 1a choice...and 2B is always a weak class. I was just doing some extra research on his injuries in the past and what not.

Of course, I wanted to draft Lincy too...but I don't draft pitchers in the 1st two rounds, so I fought hard to avoid drafting a homer pick.

Utlley wasnt who I thought. Now.. the other name might have been.

I know. It was tough to pass on Timmay...but this is serious business - no homer picks. At least not in the 2nd round. I do think that Lince is a legitimate 2nd round pick, but I've played fantasy baseball a few times before and have always drafted 2B early. It has usually worked out well for me.

I really wanted Crawford and I had a deal in place with Stalyn, but drafting two LFs in first two rounds would have been a mistake. So, I called off the deal.

I didn't want to take a chance...there aren't a lot of great 2B guys. I identified him as the best 2B in fantasy baseball, better than Cano - so had to go get my guy. I pulled a Baalke.

Gonna take a shot in the wild here and get a two position player in this league, who is also reigning MVP....questions all around him about staying healthy...I figure once those questions surround him, or others for that matter, they seem to put together a string of solid healthy seasons, and we all know what he can do when he is healthy.....and sober. I figure he has 4 or 5 solid years left with two of them being amazing years. At least while he plays in the hitters park he plays at...and playing in the AL West.

Ill take the reigning AL MVP Josh Hamilton, who was MVP anyways despite missing the final month.
