I'll trade up with you in the 4th round. I'm interested in a player, provided you don't take him with your 3rd round pick.
I'm gonna get a really good player if I stay at my current draft position so I'm good without any trades

I'm also reconsidering. There are so many good players left, I'm not sure trading up is the smartest of ideas.

So, I'm not trading up. Make your picks.

I'll finally take a little risk here. He is in his contract year, and I hope last season wasn't a fluke because he was hammering HRs in Sept. of 2009 as well.

3B - Jose Bautista

Depends on whether or not he keeps taking HGH without getting caught.

I don't buy the "altered swing mechanics" made me hit 54 home runs crap.

Torres hit a s**t ton last year with an altered swing too. Not saying I don't think Bautista is taking something, but who knows?

16 home runs is not 54 home runs.

Only 26 players in history have reached 50

You think HGH made him hit 54 HRs? C'mon bro...HGH doesn't help you make clean contact with the ball.

I counted 4-5 HRs which were not clean hits, others were just smacked. That's some sweet clean hitting.

That is a pretty nice video.

Funny how only one home run was to opposite field though. Dude crushes inside fast balls to left.

Everyone is going to pitch him away this year.

Pitchers had that figured out before mid-way through the season. You don't figure that out after a hitter has belted 54 HRs. He stance is very close to the plate, any time you are on the plate or below, he can pull it to the left field. Not to mention, he is more than happy taking walks when they pitch too far away.
I trade Pick #38 and Pick #59 to ATG for Pick #36 and Pick #61.

Round 3, Pick 36: CC Sabathia

(The AL East All-Stars )

ATG is on the clock for two picks.

He can pull outside pitches somewhat but his power is greatly reduced. And his propensity to try to pull everything destroys his average on the outer third of the plate. That's probably why he batted .232 in September as he saw a greater percentage of outside pitches.

He also seems to struggle against lefties because they have better control of the "outside", as his outside is the lefties' inside.

Also his home/road splits are ridiculous.
Round 4: Pick 1 Jason Heyward RF

This was a really hard decision for me between him and two other players. I feel like I reached some on him but there wasn't really anyone who I feel would be a bargain at this pick.
ya got one more pick brah
Trade: Me and Ninerjohn swap picks in the 4th and 5th rounds.

Ninerjohn is on the clock.

I love the trades in this thing. It's like the NFL Draft.

I can see the commish coming to the podium and making the announcement.
I really want this guy for this year and the future. I almost took him in round 4 and with the lack of centerfielders out there I had to pull the trigger to select him. The next superstar?????

With the 38th pick... I select Andrew McCutchen CF

him and Hewyard.

I might not have had to deal up to get him but couldnt risk it.
