I get: foster, turner, gates
I give: tate, r white, pierre thomas

My team:
Stafford, cutler
Rice, gore, tate, f jones, pierre thomas
R white, miles austin, s moss, boldin, d nelson
Fred davis

His team:
romo, eli manning
Foster, d thomas, d williams, addai
Fitz, s smith (car), harvin, sidney rice
Gates, hernandez

I feel like it's pretty much tate+white for turner, foster, and gates since pierre was never gonna start anyway. If foster comes back it will be a pretty good coup I think.

I'm thinking of following this up with trying to move (Gates or Fred Davis) + (Boldin or S Moss) for another WR.

Gotta pull the trigger here, right?

Yeah, I think he is desperate about Foster being out. Plus he's been trying to make trades the past few days with people and no one is biting so I'm capitalizing on that.

It's not lopsided enough to be Vetoed right?

He's gonna need more RB's and TE's after this trade..what a noob
I don't know if I would have been able to pull the trigger on that trade if I was you. Even when Foster comes back I see Tate as still a viable FF RB. Which would have let you keep Roddy! AnyHoo.....

You definitely need to trade Gates for a WR. I personally wouldn't add one of yours to the deal. Just straight up Gates for a low end #2, High end #3 WR. If you can find such a deal.

It's not as lopsided as you think! Yes it makes his RB's a lil weaker DOWN THE ROAD, but deal is fair. Especially in PPR leagues where Pierre would still be a decent play now that his schedule is a little more friendly.
Although I would have made the trade as well, I'm with krizay on my skepticism about Foster's long-term future. Kubiak loves, and I mean LOVES Tate. If you go watch Monday's presser it's like Harbaugh gushing about Alex Smith.

I get the feeling the Texans might be willing to try the rest of the season RB by committee. Arian Foster's contract situation makes things even MORE complicated down there.

Good luck with the trade. I guess only time will tell.

Tate for Foster is definitely the wild card. I'm sure it will end up being a commitee down there once Foster is healthy. I think Turner for Tate is pretty close, and I'm looking at the rest (for me) as White for Gates and Foster. Pierre was likely not going to start for me ever, but I can see where he sees value in him. Actually, reconsidering everything, I don't know how much of an immediate upgrade this is. In fact, I may be downgrading at the outset since I lose White and Gates isn't a huge upgrade over Davis if Davis he keeps perfoming like he has.

The real benefit is that if Foster comes back healthy and they go to a committee, then Turner is an upgrade over Tates and Foster is an upgrade over Thomas.

I still think I should have pulled th trigger on this, but I may not see the impact for a couple of weeks unless I roll Gates/Davis into another impact receiver.

Pfft. Dude contacted the commish and had him cancel it.

I was hesitating, too, but now I'm questioning the integrity of this league. A deal's a deal, imho.
