True but I missed Wade for a game, had Duncan sit out a game, and lost Aldridge for the entire week. It evened out.

I used to do that then I realized it wasn't as worth it to me as it would be to the ones in the title game, kinda like if you were in the title game and someone playing for 10th place was picking up good players that you may need you would be like

but anyways, Pete has a shot at this still

Not quite. I'd get there first. I added Kevin Seraphin after both champ teams had exhausted their four moves. And if missing out on JJ Hickson for a game cost me the title, I'd consider myself not strong enough anyway.

Pete beat me on the last day of the championship last year. I have no doubts he'll do it again. He's clutch like that.

Yes but you added Kyle Korvar who I really wanted and needed. Instead I had to take Bonner. That probably cost me the 3 pt category. I agree with Rabbit. Unless you are at least going for 3rd you shouldnt be claiming players to win consolation games.
that FG% cat is so close

and it'll all come down to how Al Harrington, john's last round pick (well, my pick ) shoots in the 2nd half

Ironically, Kobe's absence might have helped me. I'm already going to win every category that he's decent in (except steals, which I would have lost anyway), and there's a pretty good chance that he woulda lost me the FG% cat. Eric Gordon's inconsistent status hurt too though, because I had to play Lester Hudson, whose FG% usually sucks.

Anyway...should be an interesting 2nd half. Harrington should be checking in soon for an 0-8, 5 turnover 4th quarter.
BTW, I own the tiebreaker if it comes down to that. Jack 'em up, Al!
It's all tied up. Bench him, George! He's hurtin' you out there!
and Pete takes the lead!
I have unbelievably good luck in this league. Sorry, John. You deserved to win this, but I'll take it.

Good job Pete. I thought about sitting all the guys at the end and probably locking the win but thought that was a crappy way to win.

I thought maybe sitting Harrington may have been good but it was so close it was too risky, you would had hated yourself if he had gone 8-10 and you had lost

congrats Pete

I was positive that I would win if I sat Joe Johnson and Harrington. Pete was too far behind in FG % to make it up unless my guys threw up bad numbers. I had a big lead in the other areas and it wouldnt have hurt at all. If it was a money league I would have done it without question. For this, playing everyone was the right thing to do.

I would have sat those guys. I don't think it's bad etiquette to do that...it's strategy.

Now, picking up players when you're not in the Finals, on the other hand...

Pete. Like I said if there was any money involved I would have. Its just for fun and glad it was a good match. All that matters. If I had to lose I'm happy it was to you.

Right on, that was a great matchup. Hope you had fun in your first year of fantasy b-ball. This year was a little strange due to the condensed schedule. Most years there are fewer nights where you can fill up every available slot on your roster.
