See, that's the thing - you're stuck in present. I picked him up because he was pitching well and I felt if he pitches great during the rest of the season and post-seaosn - he is someone worth looking into.

Anyway, it's just a 3rd place match, so whatever...I thought it was sort of funny. Hopefully, you didn't lose much sleep over Lincecum costing you a spot in the final though...

Just kidding, don't get too worked up over it

For reals. Highly entertaining.

Makes me want to start some beefs in the basketball thread to spice things up, but I can't since I shy away from confrontation.

All you'd have to do is invite Ninerjohn one of these years.

Congrats Naitch on winning this league this year. You had the best team and you deserved it.

The slim chance I had of an upset basically evaporated when all my free agent pickups sucked, and Timmy sucked this week , while all your free agent pickpus scored a minimum of 20-30 points.

League heavily weighed toward pitching lol.

You can still win though with a great hitting team.. My pitching was pretty bad and if you dont knock me out in the semi finals, when Roy Halladay killed me, I win the league. On the other hand, seeing what Sac did in the final week does pretty much support what you say. I think he got over 300 points in pitching.

Do you think we should adjust pitching numbers down?
Congrats Naitch

Nah, the pitching is more dominant on a per game basis and sometimes per week basis.

But I just looked at the entire season and 12 hitters had over 500 points, but only 7 pitchers passed 500 points.
