yeah because we all knew AP was gonna be out all season
Wow, you have had AP for 10 years straight now. So much strategy.
Haha. Ya, I'm kind of over keeper leagues. I've been on both sides of it, and it's just a lot more fun to start new every year.
I really think the concepts we'll be working with starting next season will make the league better, only being able to keep a player for a couple of seasons, keepers costing you draft picks based on where they were drafted, etc. Sounds much better than being able to keep AP every season. Although in fairness drafting both him and Peyton coming off injuries before anyone else felt safe pulling those triggers obviously paid off for me.
I'm glad to see you coming around. I am OK with both you guys mentioned, but setting rules and time limits to a keeper makes it more strategic. You keep a first round pick, you watch everyone pick in the first round and into the second before you ever get a shot makes you think twice. Bargains later in the draft are the way to go.
I just can't stand to think of a league where you draft an Andrew Luck for example, and can keep him for 5-10 years. With no penalty. Lol wot. I wasn't even a member of this league when most keepers we're even drafted. And a lot of the owners are that way.
