After losing to a team by 48 points that Yahoo had projected to finish last, Rabbit is in his hole hiding.

meh, I'm feeling good for a bounce back performance against SDN

Miles thanks for making me feel better about my bidding. 10 a piece for Lewis and Reed seems excessive.

I love the FA bidding. I didnt bid on anyone this week because my team is so loaded. LOL.

I don't understand how this works.

Did I bid on Nate Washington?

Or do bids only happen if multiple people want a player?

I know this is pretty complicated for an attorney to understand. LOL

When a player is on waivers.. there is a bidding system in place. You must put a $ amount to your bid. Highest bid gets the player. If there is just one bid then obviously the owner with the bid would get the player at the dollar amount that was used.

If a player is NOT on waivers then he is a free agent and not subject to any bidding.

EDIT.. ok.. now i see what you are talking about. It seems like you did pick up Washington but there is no $ amount shown. That is confusing.

I think (guessing here) that if no one else bids on a player, you get him for free.

I dont think that is the case. I am pretty sure the amount bid is used even if no one else bids. For some reason I cannot see all of the bids on every player but it does show the Dion Lewis bid. For this it looks like NC bid $10 and no one else bid. The $10 was deducted from NC's FAAB money.

In this case, the easiest thing to do is for you to tell me how much you bid on Washington and I can adjust the total.
fyi you can also bid $0

Well thats the answer. Really stupid Yahoo rule as the minimum should be $1 in my opinion. But Sun.. you get him for free.

I'm fine with docking me a $1

TBPH I forgot about the bidding system when I claimed him

It seems like a lot I get it but really when you end the season with $30-$40 on your FA account it feels wasted. You would be surprised how much you will have left over. I always have money left over every year. I just made sure I got him because I honestly didn't know and thought I was still going to get outbid. That is just due to the simple fact nobody else done this before and was going to sling a s**tload of money at someone. For example the league I been doing this in someone dropped $19 on A-S Jenkins at TE when I bid just $5. You just never know but I never go over $10 for hardly anyone. Seems a bit but I don't feel like I really need to touch the WW for awhile because my squad is pretty much set now and feel a lot more comfortable when I obtained them.
