I gotta take this guy here...already have a 2nd baseman but can't let him slide anymore.

Jason Kipnis

Good pick.

was hoping he'd slide to me

Had to take him...If I didn't have Dustin - I'd have drafted him at least a full round earlier.

Well this is a pick that can make or break my season in all honesty...his velocity looks good so far , we shall see though although he got roughed up his first spring start...he likes where he is at and it's a contract year. Here's to hoping that last year humbled him and he learned from it...

Gimmie Tim Limcecum!!!

wow

I have faith in my team...if he does better (maybe 2011 numbers) then at this pick its a good pick... No? Or does everyone think its gone?
I don't know where to take him...but rather draft him a round early or two than lose him in Keeper League:

Matt Harvey, SP

Well, I need a shortstop...so I guess I'll take this guy even though I don't like him very much:

Ian Desmond, SS

You will like him if he repeats last year.

I think he'll be better than last year...simply because - he had a whole off-season to realize that he can't over-power guys and he needs to figure out other ways to get them out. I think last year - he didn't want to believe that and continued to over-power guys. He will be better prepared for it this year...plus he is in his contract year - so I personally like the pick.
Well no one messaged me to trade..

I'll go with SS Jimmy Rollins.

My first position player that I have picked lol. Every pick before was a pitcher.

Fun fact: Rollins has been a 7th round pick every year in this league

Of course..but that's what I mean - I don't see him repeating it. We'll see. How early do you think I drafted Harvey?

I think 1 round early. Not too bad. I had him last year and he can be pretty dominating at times. Just worry about the innings limit and full season.

That's the thing that worries me. Mets will only be contending with Marlins for the 4th place finish in the East, so there's a good chance by the time our playoffs start - he may be shut down.

Just hard to imagine that Timmy can have 2 years in a row like he had last year. Can he really go from being one of the best pitchers in the decade to total crap? Pitchers have had bad years and bounced back. I think he will be good but not great. For this spot in the draft its worth the risk.
