Hey that trade wasn't that bad

Ya dan haren was a beast and Mulder was always injured, but Daric Barton ended up being a bust.

And then Beane traded Dan Haren for Carlos Gonzalez, Brett Anderson, and Chris Carter. (Ho Lee s**t)

But then we trade CarGon for Matt Holliday

And then trade Matt holliday to you guys for Brett Wallace

and traded Wallace for Michael Taylor, whose 26 years old and still in AAA.

Look at it this way, if we never do that trade you guys might never get Matt Holliday lol.

HAHAHHA Daric Barton. Forgot about that guy.

Matt Holliday was my favorite non-Cardinal when we traded for him, but I was kinda upset to lose Brett Wallace. Poor guy is suffering down in Houston. Still remember Mark Mulder pitched like 12 innings or some s**t back in 2006 when Busch Stadium opened.

Matt Holliday is now a HUGE part of our offense, lives in STL, and will retire a Cardinal. Miss Dan Haren though. Good lord the Cardinals can draft.

Jarrod Parker and Ryan Cook for Trevor Cahill. Parker is already better than Cahil lol.

Crazy how the dude can get 2 or 3 quality players from just 1 player.

But then he does some stupid ass trades. That Matt Holliday trade still pisses me off. We basically traded Carlos Gonzalez, a MVP caliber player, for Michael Taylor, someone that can't even make a MLB roster.

I must have read every single article about him on the web in the last 1 month. He was the guy I targeted before the draft started with this pick. I read about how he was signed by the Cards and his minor league numbers and what his future potential is like. There are couple of prospects who are rated above him, but there is no question that his ceiling is the highest among them. He is seen as a potential 30-30 guy - as you mentioned a "young Barry Bonds"

Personally, I'm not expecting much from him this year. But yes, he will get the call if anyone in the outfield gets injured or isn't playing well. I'm waiting for 2014 as far as he is concerned.

Cardinals and their fans should be very excited about him.
