Haha...yea? I think he would have been available at my next pick or even at the top of next round....but didn't want to miss out on him.

I was considering him though briefly with my next pick, but I've been burned drafting rookie or second WRs too early. And it is always based on the WRs looking good in TC, high praise from coaches, etc.

But there is one thing Cook has over most young WRs. A hall of fame QB and high octane offense.

Yea...not a fan of drafting rookie WRs early.

Wouldn't have drafted Cooks here if he wasn't playing with Brees in that offense.

So, I am going to go with an oldie, but goodie.

WR Reggie Wayne

Another year older and coming off an ACL injury, but I just believe in the guy. He is this generation's Jerry Rice in so many ways. Productive year after year. Played with great QBs (Luck is getting there). Rice tore his ACL when he was 34 about to turn 35, like Wayne, and came back the next year with 82 rec, 1,157 yds and 9 TDs. I think Wayne can come close to that.
