crzy's Dynasty Football League 2014: RonMexico is the CHAMPION!

I'm on it
BENGALS defense
QB Philip Rivers.

I was screwed last year when Rodgers got hurt so I am protecting myself this year. Rivers was the third highest scoring QB in our league last year. And am a bit surprised Romo went first given Romo's back. I get Cutler going first with his array of weapons. Rivers could be better fantasy wise than Kaepernick, Russell Wilson and RGIII. Rivers doesn't have a lot of weapons, but that was even more of the case last year.
I sent Stoney a text.

Romo has more weapons than Rivers and already set to play next week. I would never take Rivers ahead of Romo.

Romo definitely has more weapons and he has been a better fantasy QB than Rivers in general. Romo also has an amazingly high tolerance for pain. But I am leery of back injuries. Romo is 34. Not sure how much more of a beating he can withstand.

Rivers had a good year last year but was garbage in prior year. I hate his stupid throwing motion anyway. HA! Dallas has such a bad offense that they will have to throw it all over the place to catch up.

Rivers was bad in 2012. But he has very respectable numbers in other years.

Rivers vs. Romo for comparison
2011, 4,624 yds, 27 TDs, 20 INTs, 62.9 Comp % / 4,184 yds, 31 TDs, 10 INT, 66.3%
2010, 4,710, 30 TDs,13 INTs, 66% / 1,605 yds, 11 TDs, 7 INTs, 69.5% (Romo only played 6 games)
2009, 4,254 yds, 28 TDs, 9 INTs, 65.2% / 4,483 yds, 26 TDs, 9 INTs
2008, 4,009 ydsm 34 TDs, 11 INTs, 65.3% / 3,448, 26 TDs, 14 INTs, 61.3% (Romo played in 13 games)

Romo does have better weapons so he has more opportunities. And I would have taken Romo over Rivers in previous years for sure. I think Romo was a great fantasy QB that provides even better value because he normally is chosen in the mid-rounds. I am just not sure he can stay healthy this year. Rivers has never missed a game since he took over the starting job.
