LOL ummm ok. Dropping a 2nd string RB for possibly another 2nd string RB is not considered the same move? Dude he played last year and had 5 snaps in regular season for SF. He injured his knee in preseason and if I recalled he scored twice in one game. Somehow he got on the coaches bad side. Players come back from having a year off and still play perform well sometimes. Look at Ricky Williams for example and the amount of time he had his hiatus. To me he has a better chance of starting than Bush other than the fact than Forte gets hurt. All it takes is Wilson to fumble one more time...
Listen, I'm not going to argue with a guy that lists all the reasons why he shouldn't be a fantasy option and has somehow convinced himself that they're positives.
1) Brandon Jacobs ISN'T the #2... He's hardly even going to be a #3 for a few weeks. You'll be lucky if he's active on gamedays until Week 4 or 5. Lunda Wells is newer brings a newer offense to the New York Giants than when Jacobs was there. He has a whole new playbook to learn. There's people dropping Le'Veon Bell, a virtual lock to be the #1 RB in Pitsburgh when he returns in what is now 4 weeks, instead of 2. And you want to add a guy who has an oustide shot of being a #2 RB in 2-3 weeks? Okay...
2) 5 snaps? Listen, I'm aware he had some game action last year, my point was he hasn't played a significant amount of football since 2011 (which again he had a TERRIBLE ypc average). He barely played last year, including practice.
3) He got on the coaches bad side. There's a green flag indicating he's going to bring a lot to your team!
4) Comparing Brandon Jacobs to Ricky Williams. I'm not even going to touch that one...
Meanwhile, Michael Bush has none of these issues stopping him from getting a healthy amount of touches each week.
