Not that it's done me much good.


But what Carlos Gonzalez is doing is amazing. He had a pretty average first half of the year and has absolutely torn the cover off the ball the last two months. When I picked him up he was just dreadful.

Didn't expect him to be THIS good. Now he's looking like a quality 5th round keeper.

Yep. He is going to carry you to an 8th place finish.

BTW I guess Pete is the only one who knows how to pick up 1023446836 SP's and not see his ERA/WHIP go down the drain

Billy Hamilton! He could be a nice pick up to make sure I finish ahead of Rabbit in steals and also a nice last rd keeper for next year.

Yes. but that 2017 team would have looked a lot better if Garce hadnt traded Sano.

John, thanks for the Cueto trade. Since I picked him up, I dropped from 3rd to 7th. Was 13 points behind, now I am 30 points behind. Cueto has lost 4 straight for me. And the depth I had at the position to make it OK got hurt and my power died (Texeira).

Yeah. Guess it was meant to be. I hovered in 3 or 4th all year. Thought I had 3rd on lock. Doesn't help that Scherzer and a few other of my SP seem to ND or L every start for the last month.

So.. 3 weeks to go. The top 2 have been set for weeks now and I dont think anything is going to change there. Boise and Pete clearly have the best 2 teams this year. The real battle is for the 3rd and final money spot. Rose or NJ? Will Sac come out of nowhere to get 3rd? What about Rabbit? Do miracles really happen?

My observations for this year that can still change:

Most surprising team.. BOISE. So many guys with career years. Thats what it takes to win a league. I didnt see this team being THIS good.
Most disappointing team... To me its a toss up between Rubs and Garce. I thought both would be better than they turned out to be
Most obvious result.. Finch in last.
