Settings:
-For 8 teams, top 4 make playoffs. If we get to 10 or more, I'd like to do 6 teams make playoffs with top 2 get bye.
-100 max waiver moves per season, 7 max per week. To cut down on people doing insane roster manipulation (in one league I'm in, theres a guy that hits 200+ waiver moves per season, its obnoxious)
-1 day waiver period, it's continuous

Head to head Point system.

Point scoring:
Goals 6 points
Assists 4 points
Plus/Minus 1 point
PP points 1 point
Shots: 0.5 points
GW goals 1 point
Hits 0.5 points
Blocks 0.5 points
Shorthanded points: 2 points
Goalie wins: 5 points
Goals against: -3 points
saves: 0.6 points
Shutouts 4 points

Rosters:
C: 3
Wingers: 6
D: 3
G: 2
Bench: 6

-I made the rosters bigger with a bigger bench. I figure that's better for a smaller league to prevent waiver pickups dominating. This way most of the good players will be on our rosters.

If anyone wants changes, PLEASE let me know. I'm trying to make this FUN more than anything else.

-I ended up cutting D down to 3. They just don't generate enough points in comparison to F/G so I feel it's kind of un-fun to require additional depth. Want to keep the focus on point-producers in the format.

Yep, Monday through Sunday you face one team. Whoever scores more points, gets 1 win.

So if there is 20 weeks in a season, you'd end up with a record of like 12-8 or something.

It's a bit similar to fantasy basketball/baseball where there are daily roster changes though. You can set it to auto-set your roster day to day but sometimes it makes dumb choices like benching your best player and starting a scrub. Usually I just go through and set the lineup for each day at the start of the week.

Checking it daily though can be required, especially for goalie starts. There are sites that post who will be a starting goalie each day (like Daily Faceoffs or something), and yahoo usually tells you who will start but they are usually a bit slower than other sites

Yea I'm familiar with daily face-off. I use when I do my DFS hockey

I haven't followed hockey for years, though I used to enjoy it.

If you need 1 more I'm happy to enter, will mostly rely on autopicks, but I'll keep my roster going, hopefully help me get back into it.

OCT 10 at 11pm definitely not good for me. 9th at 11 I could swing but not a Sunday night

I don't think we're doing money. I don't care if it's money but I wouldn't want anyone to back out

Don't worry about me for the draft, I can do late that weekend as I'm working nights. I'm likely to autopick most of it anyway.
