jones drew and chester for rivers?

i got offered maurice jones-drew and chester taylor for phillip rivers. my other qb is hasselbeck. should i do it?

Hmmm. Do you need help at RB? What RBs do you have? Are there a lot of FA QBs in your league? If you need help at RB and there are a decent number of FA QBs in your league, then pull the trigger. If you're good at RB, don't do it.

Yep make the trade. It'll be easier for you to trade MJD then Rivers.

no matter what with those two you should have a good rushing game, although Berrian might effect that...

Id stick with Rivers and try to offer up Hasselbeck. Norvs got himself a few good WRs Chambers,Jackson, Davis and Gates mixed with LT. Seattle is going thru changes. Both Drew and Taylor share carries that eat into their fantasy value. What RBs do you have already to give up a QB like Rivers for anyway?

So is Rivers at QB, he should also get more total points next year. I wouldnt make this trade in any league till I knew for sure MJD was gonna have most of the carries in Jacksonville. You already know Rivers is gonna start and he has 3 good WRs and 2 future HOFers at RB n TE. Hassellbecks run at Seattle is over imo. They arent as talented and fast as they used to be on offense. He could be trading away his starting QB next season for 2 RBs that share carries. Taylor is just about useless fantasy wise now. Fred Taylor if hes healthy will take away alot of points ya could get with MJD in 08. Might be tempting for 09 with MJD but not now. Well for right now anywaysince its super early for this kind of question

The rumor is Chester Taylor may be getting traded to Carolina for Julius Peppers. He should easily beat out DWill for the starting job down there. Not too mention like another poster said. MJD alone is better than Rivers.

Rivers is a mediocre fantasy QB. He's not going to put up numbers that blow away what he did in 2007. He had a great offense last year and still posted mediocre fantasy numbers. MJD, while not on par with guys like LT and Gore, is still in the top 12 RBs in the draft due to production. I'd much rather have MJD + a guy like Kitna or Derek Anderson than Rivers and a RB like Reggie Bush at RB.
