I'm on board! I followed him closely his first two years and was really rooting for him. The kid has proven he can play at this level and won the starting gig with the Ravens, so that more than qualifies him to be our #3 QB.

i'm waiting for fly15 tocome in here and start saying howmuch better he is than alex. then again fly is still probably mourning over nate davis

Went trolling at the Ravens forums and found these.

Apparently has wanted out since last season.
Like Nate Davis, he is a developmental QB.
Some Ravens fans even want to pick up Nate Davis.
Others say Troy should be in the CFL.

Everyone seems to be forgetting that he's reuniting with Ginn and they lit it up at OSU...cant be all that bad. To be his size and play at the level at a much, much better college says something...along with the Heisman. Ill take him as a #3 or #2!

I prefer the Troy Smith Train or the Troy Smith Tsunami to the Trolley... the Trolley is too Castro for me.

Neither Ginn or Smith have "lit it up" in the NFL. Ginn is a first round bust who is notorious for dropping balls. Why webzoners expect big things from him is beyond me.
Troy Smith lost out on a starting opportunity to get his tonsils removed.
Don't forget Doug Flutie won the Heisman at his 5'8" stature.

I recall Baltimore using him on creative plays, be it at WR or him throwing a 30 yard pass to Joe Flaco
