Armon Binns, the WR from Cincinnati is still available. He's a big guy at 6'3" 210lbs with good speed and leaping ability. Reminds me a bit of Josh Morgan.

can he catch?

Better question:

Do we really need more WRs?

Don't we always seem to run out of receivers in camp? Hill would pull a groin (usually his own), Crabtree quits or skips, someone sneezes and Zeigler gets blown to Oakland, Morgan hurts his thigh, K Williams stubs his toe, thus breaking his whol leg, yada yada.

We get to bring 90 into camp. I say, sign 20 WRs. We only keep 53 for the season, anyway.

I always wondered how the undrafted process goes with these players and how they choose where to sign.

Good point. You win.

We need a couple TEs, too.

Oh... and another QB.

From ESPN, they gave him a 2 out of 5 on Ball Skills with 1 being highest, 5 lowest:

Big hands and can snatch the ball out of the air. Tracks the deep ball well and can make over-the shoulder catches without breaking stride. Can open hips and adjust to passes thrown outside frame. Times leaps well and can win in one-on-one jump ball situations . However, will have an occasional mental lapse and drop a few throws he should make.

Sounds like he has the skills, just needs to work on focus. B4/after practice w/the juggs machine oughtta fix him up.

Get Vernon on him. His training seems to have worked.

One more 49ers catch. They will sign former Stanford tight end Konrad Reuland, according to a league source ...

Mississippi Valley?

Tennessee-Chattanooga and Delaware State.

Now thats a scouting department!

Yep. One is the best player of all time. One may very well be the 2nd best receiver ever, and the other is one of the best #2 receivers ever and very well could have been most teams #1.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the Mississippi Valley State guy claimed the Delaware State guy could be better than him if he had the same work ethic, which nobody has ever had. The Tenn-Chattanooga guy always had his "popcorn ready."

Yeah he said that in his book. I think he was being modest.

the guy from Delaware State didn't care with his truck drives mentality yet he still produced and was never truly really appreciated.

I loved the guy. For a while I looked him more than that guy from Mississippi Valley State, but thats just because my last name is Taylor also (I was a kid). He retired way too early.
The only other guy that had the work ethic and conditioning close to that of Rice was Roger Craig.

Ian Williams!!!!!

We got ourselves a young NT to develop. He was pretty much my number 1 pick in UDFA's!!!!!

How about the one where you pull off flower petals?

I can totally see some 6'7'' 340 lbs. tackle doing that.... Awesome. My mental imagery is teh best.

Yeah, nfldraftscout had him rated as the #1 UDFA. Pretty good pull. I guess when we were all pissed that the Niners skipped NT during the draft, we could have chilled out a bit.
