yeah, I didn't think Harbaugh would want a kid like Masoli. Maybe he grew up after getting thrown out of Oregon? He's still undersized and a run-first type of player.

Finally someone I heard of.

That guy seemed like a giant d-bag to me.

I guess he had talent, but I'd much rather get the SRJC alum, Froman.

yah but he don't want the niners

What about Tolzien (sp?)

I know nothing of this... sounds like pasta.

Pasta that should probably be in prison, avoiding the showers like they spit white-hot liquid death (but it's really just the rapies)

WTF did he do?

burglary, drug trafficing, overall turdsmanship.

Oh, so just generic thuggery. Nothing really nasty like eating babies or having sex with corpses.

Whatever, then. He looks like he's a running back to me. I don't think he looks like an NFL caliber QB AT ALL.

Harbaugh knows more than me, though. Meh.

Source: SF native QB Jeremiah Masoli of Ole Miss via Oregon, where he led Ducks to Rose Bowl before getting dismissed, will sign w/ 49ers.

He'll be lucky to make it 1 year... if he does make a team it wouldnt surprise me to see him cut due to a run ins with the law.

Man, this guy sounds like bad news. Weird that the 49ers signed him... I thought they were all about "character" and whatnot. It'll be interesting to follow the kid and see what's up.

Unlike Dontavia Bogan, and even our own Josh Morgan... Joe Hastings goes up and grabs the ball with his hands, he does not catch it with his body. Hastings can make some pretty nice catches. Whats difficult for me to read is his speed. Because the video is poor and his competition is garbage, its hard to tell if he's fast or good at route running.

Yeah, he seems quick in and out of his breaks, but he doesn't seem like a burner. I wasn't all that impressed, to be honest. I think he's got good instincts, but I think he had really good chemistry with the QB. I dunno... just timing and ball placement were really good between the two, except on a couple occasions.

He does have good hands, though... at least it looks like it. Snatches the ball out of the air with a quickness.

Not enough for me to get excited, but he could be one of those really deceptive guys. We'll see.

I don't think he will make the team but from what I understand, he was on his best behavior at Ole Miss.
