Floyd > Rice

49ers vs. Ravens

Many experts say it is unlikely that Floyd will remain with his current team, the San Diego Chargers, unless the Chargers loosen their purse strings. Last week reports surfaced that the Cardinals were not seriously interested in the 6' 5" receiver. The Vikings, on the other hand, were very interested, but recently signed possession receiver Michael Jenkins from the Falcons, and have made no movement in releasing deep-threat WR Bernard Berrian. The Jets just signed Burress, so it is unclear if they have the need or the cap room to snatch Floyd. That leaves the Baltimore Ravens and the San Fransisco 49ers as possible outlets.

Receptions 37
Yards 717
Avg. 19.4
Long 55
Touchdowns 6

Bernard Berrian just agreed to take a pay cut to stay with the Bears.

(We still have Alex Smith.)

The redzone is the one part of the field Alex Smith plays well in

Yeah, brain fart. Sorry guys!
You guys overrate him a bit. Rivers makes him look good. We have nobody of Rivers caliber obviously. You want the other guy. The guy they put the tag on. Trust me. I watch a lot of SD football. Floyd isn't that great. Just a big target who is average. He getes lost in the shuffle because they have a great TE and another great WR. People forget to cover him.
