I don't understand why we can't close the door on these FA. If we want him, just go get him! F*ck!

Floyd isn't that great. Just a big target who is average. He getes lost in the shuffle because they have a great TE and another great WR. People forget to cover him.
A "big, average receiver" is better than we have now. Until Crabtree gets healthy and begins to live up to his press clippings, Floyd would be the #1 WR here.

we sure could use Floyd in the redzone...he is a big target andf would open up things for Davis inside

If nothing else a big reciever is great to have for bail out plays, if nobody is open, Smith can throw it up to him instead of forcing a pass to a smaller reciever or taking a sack.

Rivers IS good but the anti-Alex contingent here would have us all believe Rivers makes all his receivers Pro Bowlers.
SD has a good scheme AND good balance along with a good QB.

What I like about him is how he adjusts to the tough catches. His 6'5" height is also
a big advantage that he uses well. We haven't had this type of receiver for a while.

Are we even in the "mix"? Or are we just interested? Or is there just speculation from beat writers? Here goes another player to a different team for the fans to rag on Baalke...
