This is an airport that is only 5 months removed from a deadly shooting during which a TSA agent was killed and several others including civilians were wounded. OF COURSE they will take this seriously, especially if in the midsts of a conversation he says "keep searching, I have a bomb". That isn't a "oh man last night was the bomb" slip of the tongue, drunk or not he directly stated that he had a bomb in his possession.

You may hate the TSA for how they "inconvenience" you but what they do is, contrary to popular opinion, actually very important and is a dangerous and stressful job.

For Christ's sake this is completely Aldon's fault and the onus is once again on the 49ers to see if they truly believe he can change or if we are going to essentially publicly acknowledge that he is worth his off-field trouble because of his on-field production.

I wish TMZ would post the entire video, not an edited copy but perhaps the FBI, LAPD, TSA won't allow it to be shown in its entirety because of the investigation.

Bottom line is Aldon has shown he is in danger of constantly f**king up. If we don't institute Dez Bryant Rules on him than he will eventually do something dangerous enough to harm someone else or himself or simply be banned indefinitely from the NFL. NFL teams have the power to indefinitely suspend players for "detrimental conduct" so you can bet the league has the power to do it as well.

I'm out. The last 20 pages of this thread showed me there is such a diverse range of thoughts, intelligence and knowledge or lack thereof that his thread is going to explode in the next few hours/days.

I get what your saying and I understand, but seriously with lax being 5 monthes removed from such a horrendous incident, there security should be tighter and unwilling to allow Anyone through there security if they make supposed bomb threats. I mean really what the hell are they thinking if they think someone made a serious bomb threat they do not go a step further into the airport unless its by force, and there is no report of Aldon forcing his way through security.

Can't get busted for something that's already common knowledge and has been sanctioned by the U.N.

I am a huge Aldon Smith fan and this is the most realistic way at looking at this. They either have to cut him or keep him or suspend him for this season and evaluate him at the end of this season to see what they want to do with his contract. And by suspending him for a year i don't mean let him take a year off to do as he pleases and get into even more trouble. The dude seriously is going to need a mentor / babysitter for a very long time to get to the root of what's causing him to do all this. Which is obviously immaturity and him not valuing what he has. After the year suspension he should be re evaluated and then release him or re sign him.

No it's been suspected that he was drinking. You've got to be effing kidding me. I swear it's like all the blood, sweat, and tears this team has invested in coming so close but yet so far from winning it all 3 years in a row is just a big pile of s**t hitting the fan all at once and totally imploding in one fell swoop. I wouldn't consider what just happened with Kaep to be any kind of legal trouble.

I agree. Was just saying in another thread that I think he makes that comment even while sober. He didn't realize the severity of being a smartass in the airport.
