Has it been said that other people besides the TSA heard him say the word bomb? I think it would be well known by now (for fact) if he was running around yelling there's a bomb on the plane!

This. There is a lot I don't like about government agencies and the TSA, but Aldon's antics are indefensible. If someone runs around screaming they're going to kill people, that is not protected speech. Antagonizing remarks about bombs on airplanes is not protected speech. I'm tired of people using the freedom of speech argument. It does not apply here whatsoever.

What's so hard about "innocent until proven guilty"?

I was not there, and I too believe he is innocent until proven guilty. I want proof that he said he had a "bomb".

But the issue here seems to be that even if he did say he had a bomb, people on this forum are still defending his actions because the "TSA sucks, man". Yes, I agree. The TSA does suck. That doesn't mean you excuse Aldon's behavior if the allegation is true.

No. He was just standing up for himself and his way of making a point. He knew that he shouldn't have to deal with what he did. He wasn't making a political statement. He was making a statement about that one situation he was in.

Vote? If someone is doing something wrong to you, do you even think about voting? No. If some 'authority' is about to shoot you in the head for no reason do you think about voting or do you defend yourself? Thousands of men, women, and children are getting molested every single day... and it's the subservient mentality that allows the molestation to continue. If you ask you probably know someone who has been molested. Go ahead and tell them to vote. His words may have sounded shocking, but Aldon just manned up. It's the rule of the streets. I wish there was more of that. World would be a better place.

Tell any family members who lost a loved one on 9/11 that you were just joking when you say you have a bomb in an airport. It should be taken seriously whether he was joking or not. It's not something you joke about. He Crossed the line and honestly deserves what he gets. The kid needs to grow up.

When it's obvious that they don't? Not necessarily.

It's one thing if he was running around or in the center of a big crowd saying he had a bomb (or gun, knife, weapon, etc...) but as far as we know just one TSA agent said that he indicated he had a bomb in what seems to be a sarcastic tone.

Unless they recorded him saying it there's an obvious lack of evidence to show that he said it.
