I watched a few games that Garoppolo played and one of his selling points is limited film footage. He reminded me of Trevor Siemian. Belichick wins hands with a pair of deuces. If Polo was the next NE quarterback he would not be available. That alone tells me buyer beware.

Garoppolo has better decision making. He doesn't take risks like Siemian does

That may ultimately prove to be true. But I think that's impossible to say with a game and a half of footage.

You really think the analytics crew will give up that much for a guy they have to pay a crapload of money to soon after?
Depends how desperate Cle wants a QB and where they have him valued against the rookies. They already have a pipeline with NE so they could get a discount like they did with Collins. They also have the cap space in case they do feel that JG is worth going with.
If they think he's better than Watson. Tru, etc. then they just might do it.

Just read that the Patriots starting demand for Grappy is a 1st and a 4th...
so there we go.. the bidding starts!!
do we offer NEXT (2018) 1st and this year's 4th for Grappy? or do we roll the dice on Trubby..

There is a reason one guy was a 2nd rounder and the other was a 7th rounder.
Garoppolo in terms of physical ability is just flat out more talented.

After winning 1 game how much stock do you think they'll have in those analytics?

I'm sticking with my plan here since I like Grappy more than Trubisky..
1a) Joe Staley and Arik Armstead for Grappy
1b) Joe Staley and Lynch Slob for Grappy
1c) Arik Armstead and 3rd (2018) for Grappy
1d) 2017 (3rd) and 2018 (2nd to 1st.. 1st ONLY if Grappy leads us to the Playoffs)

My response to that would be to put Grappy where the sun don't shine. Some of you act as if Garroppolo is a sure thing with ALL his game and a half experience. There's a chance Tru, Watson or Kizer is better in the NFL. Possibly all 3. Bottom line is the jury is still out on all, including Garappolo
