You said that they would get a first. What they want is known, what they get remains to be seen. The two are not one and the same.

In the end I think it will wind up being something more along the lines of a 2nd and future 2nd or 3rd rounder as compensation.

Well that's because Kap had a 13 mil contract that no one wanted period. Garrapolo is going to find a team willing to pay him. If Cassel got traded for the 37th pick and some teams were upset they lost out despite offering more I don't think it's stretch to think they could walk out with a 1st rounder especially if Clv wants him.

They're going to put a mid 1st round grade on him and probably settle at 2 2nds.

for a team in our position it'd prprobably be a smart move not trading for him he's gonna get a fat contract. while the other option would be draft a guy to mold and have him for 5 years on rookie pay scale while loading the roster with talent.. . I see a team that's a qb away trying to get him... like the Texans... oh wait lol they tried that once i don't remember how that turned out for them hmm

Good luck with your waiting for Colt McCoy 2.0 goals of 2018. Smaller QB that lacks arm strength and velocity, seeing how much success Peterson had with a similar, albeit lesser talented QB in Kellen Moore, I'm not very sold on the guy.

NO NO NO on Jimmy G! We have too freaking many spots to fill for STILL an unknown QB. We need PASS RUSH and Inside LB's among other positions like QB, WR. If NEw England would trade him THAT SHOULD TELL YOU SOMETHING

This is the worst idea I've ever heard. I'm fully against picking Garapollo, but I'd take him before picking Falk or Browning high next year.

Falk would have been a 3rd-4th round pick at best this year due to concerns about his frame, arm strength, and scheme. He's always been a poor man's Jared Goff and that isn't going to change a year from now. Browning has an even worse arm than Falk. Neither of them are going to be first round picks next year let alone prospects you throw the farm at.

Yeah he has no arm at all why dont you check the highlight reels. He throws long passes all day and very accurate

He has limited arm strength at best, doesn't do a very good job of driving the ball. Looks to be a better college player than NFL player, not a terrible prospect but nobody I'm going to be eagerly anticipating. Would rather have Trubisky this year.

Veering off topic. I'm a fan of Browning. He has major faults and weaknesses but he's only 20 and has time to improve his weaknesses. However, I think Trubisky has fared better this season and would be a stronger pick than Browning if he chose to join the draft next year.

I'll be happy with Jimmy G, but not for a first rounder.
