He would've also been burned for a TD if Davis threw a better pass. He got burnt BAD! But it didn't happen and his pick six was beautiful, he'll be starting for us one day if he keeps progression like he has

He had a great play on kickoff coverage. Shook a blocker & got to his guy; Borland came on the other side to finish.

Glad to see this guy making plays while he is on the field. Hope it continues as he gets more time on the field.

The pick 6 also has to be a big confidence booster. Being supremely confident is almost a must at the DB position and I'd have to assume thats a big boon to his confidence.

This guy is so the anti-Richard Sherman. Makes a picksix and gives all the credit to the scheme and play of the defensive unit instead of flapping his gums about "that's what you get when you try me with a sorry receiver" and other verbal diarrhea that incessantly comes out of his piehole.

Sherman will be just another guy in a couple of years.

Disagree, he was playing off coverage, read Austin and closed in to steal the pick.

this. looks like they were in a zone coverage and he saw what was going down and made the play. did he take a risk by going for the INT, yes, but he had people behind him to help if he missed it. he made the most of his opportunity. can't say the same for other players.

Iirc he positioned himself superbly. Any closer and the pass wouldn't have been thrown.

Our 2014 draft is freaking NUTS!!! , this dude looks like a long-term answer at CB and we got him the in 4th round. Lynch looks like he could replace the penalty-ridden, over-paid Brooks after this season. Ward has started from the get-go at Nickel and could back up either S position. Hyde looks to be our heir apparent to Gore, and we have Martin and Thomas waiting in the wings for future C / G rotation...

The pick isn't the play I'm talking about. It was a play where Austin missed his reciever in the endzone and he had Johnson beat and turned around by atleast ten yards. Johnson didn't just come in for the pick six play
