I think he is for sure. They said I believe it was his quadriceps. I would love for this guy to start, on the field he makes plays and shuts down people often. He is tall, has good range, and makes plays on the ball. A very good pick by Trent like most of his defensive pics

Is it me or is this guy really underrated? Not saying he is a Pro-Bowler or anything, but it was mystifying why he wasn't a starter last season.

can we first see him as a full time starter???

thus far, he's done nothing...

it's almost like when Brock had a huge half a season and Baalke gave him this huge contract.. suddenly, he's done nothing due to injury and had come back down to average JOE..

DJ basically started his whole rookie season and did great. I think he's our best CB.

I think DJ is more of a match up CB. There are games where he seems to struggle against avg guys and then comes out the next week and plays well against a #1. I think that will keep him from ever truly being a full time starter. Probably see his snap count vary a lot from week to week depending on the match ups.

Brock got a 4 yr $14 million deal far from "huge" He's the 44th highest paid CB in the league lol. FYI Shareece Wright just got paid more than Brock with his new contract in Baltimore.

I'd say we've gotten a pretty good deal for our #1 CB compared to others in this league.

Scheme is a reason he didn't play more I believe. Mangina ran a lot of zone stuff same with Ed Donatell. I see Acker taking a back sit or possibly getting cut/traded in favor of DJ/Robinson.

wouldnt be surprised to see DJ and Robinson get the start this year or next year. They fit the scheme perfectly.

Brock and ward will do fine but DJ might be better overall than Brock. And Brock isn't that bad at slot CB. Ward is better though. Either way I think it will be DJ and Robinson battling for the other spot in 2017 and beyond.
