I don't hate DJ, but I agree that we need to add a new starter and at least one reserve.
That said, improve the pass rush, and the secondary will look better. Just like Jimmy G and the Offense.

He's either committing penalties or letting his man win, he needs to go, he got his chance next man up

Pretty sure everyone that didn't know why he wasn't starting in the past know the reason now. Him and Harold are the worst starters on defense and both need replacement

Think Eli is iight in base and barely makes like 700k. I just wouldnt mind DJ bag for a super low deal as insurance. Like literally our #5/6 CB.
