A guy they know, who is familiar with the system gets brought back as a camp body. That's your reason and why it doesn't make zero sense.

It's pretty clear from the draft that our FO likes who we have in the secondary. That's why they're not focused on "giving someone else a shot".

The only difference between Johnson and some other camp body is that we already know and dislike Johnson, but a player who is nothing more than an afterthought for everyone other than those who want to feel outrage really isn't proof of anyone's intelligence....or maybe it is....

The only good coming out of this means theyre deciding to play Moore at FS and Dontae Johnson is like our 4th string as a depth option (hes better than mabin imo)

This signing to me is pretty. He gives depth who knows the system and most importantly I think the fo understands that Moore was played out of position and will be moved to his natural position FS, Now Jimmy 'Infirmary' Ward is out. Look for Moore to get increased snaps next week at OTAs. Just my opinion.

I don't know why they can't let go of mediocre players. But, someone has to be 3rd string, might as well get someone who knows the system already.
