If there's one person I legit hate on this team it's this guy.

A pick Bortles threw right between the numbers that he returned for a td in 17 lol but he still sucks. Dude is still hanging around I'm amazed

We can't part with this guy for some reason! You would think there's something better out there or even something similar.

You don't even know why you hate him... maybe because he's a familiar name of the old era, and you're angry about something else regarding the team?.. but take it out on the easy target?

Not many highlights with Dontae... but like Ahkello, he got embarrassed by DeAndre Hopkins.. and lost his spot.

Dontae is tall and fast.. but he didn't develop like Ahkello... he could cover his guy (besides Hopkins), but he never turned his head. So no chances at INTS or anything. Nothing flashy. You knew what you were going to get.

But that was back then...I don't know how he is now. He's traveled a bit. But even this couching staff has brought him back twice now.

On KNBR one of the reporters said Ward could always start at CB if needed. In would c think that's an option after Johnson.

Here I looked up youtube. Someone ACTUALLY made a video about him lol. It's pretty good.

I'm pretty sure he lead the team in tackles Shannahan's first season here. Its never a good thing when your CB leads the team in tackles

I know he's only playing because of a bunch of injuries at CB, but damn...you're up against Fulgham, make the damn play on that deep pass! I mean, Fulgham! If there was ever a time this team needed Johnson to make a play, it was right there last night given all that was happening. It's not like he was guarding a WR1, WR2, WR3 or any good starting WR.

Just venting (was screaming at the TV - wife wasn't happy). Looking forward to the other CBs getting healthy.

Why not move Ward to CB, and start Moore or Harris opposite of Tartt?

That seems like a much better bandaid, than relying on Donte, of all people, who had a groin injury.

I don't know if yall ever had grain injuries.. but man it's horrible..and you just want to drop to the ground in a fetal position.

We shoulda kept HARRIS Jr over this guy and allowed him to play... at least his excused woulda been more acceptable..

I think he's the worst cb we've ever had.....and that's including mike rumph
