That's actually why I don't like this signing. I don't think he's been great on special teams he's just played the most. Marcell Harris and Raheem Mostert were good on special teams. He's not imo.

Harris and Mostert aren't on ST anymore. That's why we need other guys. If a young guy comes along and beats him out, then he is gone. In the meantime, there is obviously a reason why they brought him back early. IIRC, he was popular in the locker room and works hard in practice. That counts.

This. "Aseguranca" ....aka ...insurance. Gotta have somebody if we flame out in draft and this is NOT the best draft for DBs this year. Now we got somebody. His job to beat whoever we draft....and no guarantee there. So 'paciencia"...patience.

I thought DJ played well last season...he seemed a lot more aggressive than in past years. If nothing else, some pretty solid depth. Love to have those big CB's who get on it.

Another one year contract. Looks like we'll have a lot of free agents agin next season. At least the cap will be higher.

Please tell me your complaining about the total amount of 1 year contracts being handed out and not that DJ only got a 1 year. I'm happy they didn't give this guy a multi year deal.

C'mon guys, we gotta have some CBs. Then we get thru draft and UDFA and camp and see if some of them can unseat DJ. That's simple. "Aseguranca" ...insurance....and then pray like crazy for a couple good CBs in draft and UDFA.
