And the limited time he has played in games, he's very prone to giving up 3rd down catches. I use to cringe when he would sub in for Richard Sherman.

Maybe you aren't too good at evaluating football players but Johnson is a horrendous cornerback. There are a lot of players that know the system that may have talent and still suck royal ass.

So your justification for keeping him is asinine and ridiculous at best. "He will be close to his guy?????" That's what you got in his defense. Close but still gives up a long completion or td. Come on man!!!! I hate to break it to you, but some players just suck no matter how fast they are or how well they know a system, they are a liability and could cost us games. Dante Johnson does fall into that category.

Did I overrate the guy? Did I say he should start? Did I say he should get signed to a longer term contract? No.

The three WRs you just named all play for the Bills.. here's last year Bills game.. if Dontae was getting embarrassed left and right like you make it seem, he should be in a bunch of these highlights for the Bills...but nope, mostly Verrett, Sherm, and Moore chasing around those WRs. (It didn't help them that we had no pass rush last year)

It should be Lenoir. This is just the right matchup to give your rookie corner some early confidence. Plus Lenoir has experience defending against the Lions rookie WR St Brown because their teams in College played eachother often.
