DB Dontae Johnson North Carolina State

I don't see what the big deal is with him. He is what our 5th corner? He seems like a great team guy and he's not a bad corner if he isn't starting. I'd take him over dudes who don't play.

I guess you fail to realize that Kyle Shanahan sometimes likes bringing players back that are experienced even if they are very very bad players. You wanting a bad player on the team is laughable and I am so glad you're not in charge. I am still laughing at you defending Dontae Johnson by saying at least he stays with the receiver. Does anyone know whether Dontae is elevated just for this sunday game from PS or is he being promoted to 53 man roster in Hurd's place? Still hoping that they only elevated him for one game from PS (per new rule started in 2020) and they will bring in someone else for 53 after Sunday.

It's just for this game (so far) so hopefully Moseley will be back by week 3 bc if they elevate a player a third time I believe you have to promote him to the 53 at that point

He's going to start vs Detroit.... Could end up being a heck of a story if he can just play decent. With our (potential) pass rush I think he can hold up and do okay for a game or two

The Lions have the worst WR in the NFL so it wouldn't surprise me if DJ looks ok. Personally I would gibe Demo Lenoir the start. But hey I'm just a fan not a coach.

HEY EVERYONE, Dontae Johnson at least "stayed with his wr" Just like I said, PI in the end zone and a free td. That same wr couldn't start for any team

I spoke too soon he allowed another touchdown. Two touchdowns on two consecutive drives. That's so impressive. What say you Afrikan?

Again, I said he stays with his recievers yes...for depth, that's all you could hope for when you're down to your 5th or 6st CB.

If that was Lenoir or Verrett that got called for the PI, would yall react the same way? Because that was iffy as s**t... as some in the gameday thread pointed out. But yall go ahead and have your fun.
