With him sitting out so long this year and his off season troubles does he fall into our price range for a guy to replace Cowboy?

Dude - he's not going to be playing next season -- he'll be suspended big time by Godel.

They should have an All Felon team.

Would be great but with his record now clean I'd say he's in for a big payday. Our only hope would be a one year prove it deal since he sat out a whole season.
Don't see that happening though. He's young and in 2013 was a top notch pass rusher.

Are you kidding? Hardy, by himself, is not enough.
We should:
1. sign both Hardy and Suh in free agency.
2. trade Kaepernick, Boldin, and Bowman to the Browns for Johnny Football, Josh Gordon, and Justin Gilbert.
3. trade our 1st and third to move up in the draft and get Dorial Green-Beckham.
4. trade the remainder of our draft picks to Jacksonville for Justin Blackmon.
5. trade Boone and Staley to the Bills for Richie Incognito.

When Hardy played against us he was unblockable. Jed York wants choir boys with good character, and a losing team.

he would probably have to bulk up a bit if he was to play for us ..at 6 foot 4 and 275 pounds, he wouldn't get too much push as a 3-4 DE, and couldn't physically withstand the pounding he would take occupying 2 blockers the majority of the time ...but as a 4-3 DE yes, he would be a force off the edge ....but we all know it wont happen
