Greg Hardy

I would try to sign him, He still cant demand much he was good this year not great tho and he still had some issues during the season just didnt break any laws so he should be available for a good price. Then go after Irving and/or Wilkerson still in FA and trade back and grab Noah Spence. Who would need great corners when QBs will be running backwards all game. Lynch, Irving, Hardy, Wilkerson.. We would have the constant fresh rotation like Seattle of pass rushers and edge setters.
He's an absolute thug as if we already don't have enough to deal with.
I guess if you can look past his history with women, his slapping the clipboard out of a coaches hand on the sidelines and not bothering to stay in shape the whole season, than yeah - 6 sacks last year for 8.8M was totally worth it. Let's sign him. Good deal. Championship.
He's out of control. No way Baalke comes anywhere this dude. He's always in the verge of snapping.

Half the players in the league are nut jobs. Hardy's nut-jobbery has just been exposed to the public.

There's a huge difference between being having huge character issues that make you unstable (Manziel) and having huge character issues that don't interfere with your play (Von Miller).

Hardy could be the steal of the offseason.

Hardy was a cancer on a young defense last year. What do you think he will be here?

Vin Miller partied to much and was on a party drug. Hardy beat his girl and had a buck of assault weapons
The Niners need to sign this guy immediately.

A Chip-Kelly defense is one where you're going to have to rotate guys in & out even more than usual. Hardy can come in on passing situations & use the Niners to try to earn another big contract. The Niners have a ton of cap space, and Hardy's a great buy-low kind of player.
I doubt a team sign him this year after that horrible interview he gave to Schefter, might be the next Ray Rice

Ray Rice was pretty close to washed up by the time he punched his way out of the league. Hardy is still in his prime, and he plays a position that's 3 times as important as RB.

This. Even NFL players are making fun of the guy now. He has turned into a joke and a massive headache for any team that signs him.

When Jerry Jones is like "nah son youre too crazy for us", that is a good sign that your NFL career might be done.
Yea This is one of those interviews where you need your lawyer stopping you from answering questions.
He picked a weird time to give a rare opinion and go to bat for someone....

Andrew Perloff@andrewperloff
Adam Schefter on Hardy: "This is a guy who has managed to say the wrong things at the wrong time. I found him to be a changed kind of guy."

And he was average as s**t last year. Also was known for showing up late, often drunk from partying, and didn't work. It showed on the field and common knowledge amongst the league. I doubt he gets signed.

Yet he still recorded 6 sacks on a team where he was the only legitimate pass rusher.

I'd take that any day for a guy who's going to play 20-25 snaps a game.
