It may be early enough in the offseason that Gamble can land somewhere else.
think we bring in Dominik to replace Gamble?

Nah. They already have Peters and Mayhew. Dominik would be redundant at this point. Too many chiefs and all that jazz.

This is what I was wondering. With Peters being over the college evaluation side, was thinking Dominik might be brought in to help with pro personnel- or maybe that would be too many cooks in the kitchen with Mayhew aboard?

I'm sure they knew he was leaving. They prob just had a deal in place for once the GM and his guys were hired he could then leave. Prob with a bit of a bonus for staying on and helping the transition. He was a Baalke and Chip guy. Now everyone being brought in are Lynch/Shannahan guys

I don't get this. Usually teams have a pro personnel director and a college scouting director behind the GM. Especially since Lynch doesn't have any front office experience of his own. You would think Lynch would want to surround himself with as many experienced scouts as he could.
I think a pro personnel guy is exactly what we should be going after.

I thought Peters was here as our pro personnel guy. That it was a step up from his Broncos job.
