Trade for OBJ

Link? I doubt there is any truth to this. Still, I pray it's true and Lynch is starting with a weak offer before increasing it. Everyone here knows how much this staff loves Beckham Jr. We damn near passed on Bosa just to get him.

It was on twitter some guy from Cle who's been on point about Cavs/Browns rumors in the past not an NFL source lol

How much would that suck for OBJ if he got traded to the Redskins!

Like being sent to Hell!
If the trade happened - I'd be ecstatic.

But right now it's a fantasy.

Just give Cleveland back their 1st and 3rd (2021) next March and see if they bite. If not try to sign AJ Green and draft a WR in the 1st.

(Of course re-sign Emmanuel Sanders too)

So spend 20+ million on 2 wr's and draft a wr in the 1st?

Crazy how one game can make people lose their minds.

???????????????

What two WR are gonna command $20 million? Are you talking about per year or overall contract?

And no, it wasn't just one game that these same receivers have been dropping passes.

It'll cost the 9ers a minimum of 20 mil to get both Sanders and Green. So you are willing to let Armstead walk just to add AJ? I'm not. AJ has also said he wants to get paid so he might want upwards of 15 himself. The 9ers just don't have that kinda money unless Armstead walks. He's more valuable going forward than AJ would be.

Yah iv'e seen them drop passes. Also saw Deebo make plays. Development on WR takes time.

AJ still needs to prove hes even healthy.

Always a way to fit players within the cap. Shoot I remember a certain cap guru thinking the 49ers wouldn't make any splash trades because Sanders was owed $9 mill this season. Front and back loading contracts and incentives are all ways to move around cap space. Both Sanders and Green are up there in age and coming off injuries, so I wouldn't be too concerned about their numbers just yet.

And true, AJ Green still has to prove that he's healthy, but that's why teams do physicals before they sign a player.

love me some OBJ, he makes insane catches but he also has some knucklehead drops as well. This upcoming draft is stocked with amazing WRs.

They need that cash/draft picks to possibly upgrade that IOL/S and yes WR.
If OBJ is available in the off season im sending them our 1st no questions asked. Im so sick of seeing pettis, goodwin and bourne out there and the passing game die if kittle or sanders is out

I couldn't agree more, I'd even throw in a 2021 3rd round pick.
No doubt he's a special talent but will Hollywood call?

Mmm no. I would pick up a receiver with that pick.

Why not, he's still young and is still one of the most dominant receivers out there.

I'm betting Shanahan would do it too after they tried trading for him for over a year.

Exactly, they really tried before and there's no damn wr who'll be able to hold OBJ's jockstrap worth it at the end of round 1 where we would be picking. Huge difference if we were picking top 5 to bottom 5
