Me too

If we could get Bell for a 3rd I'd rather get Bell. If the Steelers need a 1st minimum than I agree with you.

Yes, A 3rd would be hard to pass up. I'm just concerned with his contract demands. He's awesome, but he wants sooo much $

He did turn down $14.5M a year from the Steelers, but was only guaranteed just over $10M at signing.

If we offered him $15M a year and $25M guaranteed at signing he might be willing to come here.

Would a 4 year deal with Bell be short enough to keep us out of cap hell till his contract expires?

I would trade a 3rd for him even if he is a one year rental. Let him ball out in Kyle's scheme this year. Tag and trade him at the end of the year to get a 3rd or better back. Worse case we do not tag him and he leaves in FA. We get a 3rd round comp in 2020. Now there is no chance that the Steelers would let him go for that little though.

f**k it do it
we won games with Shaughn Drone and DeJuan. We should be ok but still should throw some low offers out there.
We have no RB.

Morris, Breida, Mostert, Juszczyk all on the active roster and Wilson on the practice squad.

That's five if my quick maths are right.
Rascal here bruhs. I have an idea. Let's trade our next 2 1st round picks and our 2024 3rd round pick to da Rams for Jared Goff. Then we can make Jared Goff our startin running back! Bang, now we have upgraded our RB position with Goff and I can actually be happy again dat we have my boy Goff. Whatchya Say

The comp pick hadn'teven occurred to me. Might handcuff us a little as far as picking up free agents, but that's really a crafty thinking.

I'm sure the Steelers are thinking the same. No reason to trade him for anything less than a second because they're at minimum getting a third if he walks.
