Morris, Breida, Mostert, Juszczyk all on the active roster and Wilson on the practice squad.

That's five if my quick maths are right.

That's a lot of Arby's

If the Niners trade for Bell that means it is a virtual lock they cut McKinnon in the offseason. You may not care. You may even want that to happen. But I think you'd be hard pressed to convince yourself Shanahan wants that to happen -- particularly since the Niners already ate the worst part of McKinnon's contract and he moves on to a much more palatable annual salary in 2019.

McKinnon still counts $6,000,000 against the cap next year. Only way to get out of that is to trade him to someone who will take the contract.
The trouble with top running backs wanting big contracts is that by the time they've proved themselves they are on the downsides of their careers because of the short shelf life of the product.

Not sure how spot on spotrac is but they have him at 4.5 million against the cap and 1.5 million dead money if cut..

Also literally they have less than $500k in dead money in 2019 as well...that will change but that's amazing

Yup they kept the only good guy from the last regime in Paraag..
I can see him on the packers
I would be making a call just to see what it would take. We all know it would be at a kings ransom too. Too much I would imagine. Could you imagine Bell on the Niners? Very interesting though in those tweets. Another unnamed player quoted "He f**ked us, he really f**ked us". I'm sure it will all boil over soon. Though the Steelers said they will not budge.
Offer them a 2nd and remind them that's what we got jimmy G for...

Le'Veon Bell trade rumors: 5 great fits for Steelers star
1. San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers are in the perfect position to be a great offensive team this season. Headed by Jimmy Garoppolo, who began the reversal of the Niners' misfortunes last season, San Francisco has a solid line and good group of receivers and could score a lot.

The player head coach Kyle Shanahan thought was perfect for this offense was Jerick McKinnon. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see that play out as McKinnon is out for the year. San Francisco will now have to rely on Matt Breida and Alfred Morris, who may offer uneven results throughout the season.
A steady, reliable option that would also fit the offense is Le'Veon Bell.

Bell, like in Tennessee, would be the final piece to this offense and could take it to the next level. His game would open up Garoppolo's and vice versa. It would be a match made in heaven.
San Francisco has filled some holes on the defensive end, too, allowing them to overspend on Bell if need be.

While the other four options are intriguing, San Francisco is the team I would like to see Bell on most. He could be the addition that firmly places the Niners in the Super Bowl discussion.

This dude has probably never watched a Niner game in his life, and probably never seen this pass rush.
