McKinnon, Breida and Mostert are more than enough at rb. We're set there, just get that damn defense fixed and add wrsOriginally posted by Phoenix49ers:Originally posted by FredFlintstone:We got much more bigger needs, spend the money elsewhere. Bell has Jets or Colts written all over him
This. Bell isn't a particularly good fit for this offense and RB becomes pretty much plug and play once the OL is set. With Breida, McKinnon and Morris on the roster, I'd far rather see that money go to edge rusher, CB, WR, safety...etc.

Hopefully Mostert heals up well enough to play...last time we saw him it looked like he had 2 elbows on that arm. That had to hurt like a SOB!

If it was a knee that went that way then I would expect him to miss next year or it be career ending. But he should be back by mini campsOriginally posted by ltrain:Originally posted by FredFlintstone:McKinnon, Breida and Mostert are more than enough at rb. ShannaLynch will draft a mid to late round RB to challenge for PT.

I'd like TJ Yeldon added on the cheap. Then ya have 3 guys who can catch and run.

Or Tevin Coleman. We could use a power back to help us in goal line, short yardage, and grinding out the clock. He also needs to be a good receiver out of backfield so we don't become predictable putting him in. I don't think Bell is the guy after paying McKinnon all that money

Coleman's gonna cost too much.

I think Bell in Indianapolis would be a great move for the Colts.

Bell in a 49ers uniform would look the best. Yes he costs money, but teams have to Game plan for him.

Teams have to gameplan for the 49ers run game regardless. This is a scheme designed to be plug and play at RB. Once they've got the OL set, any number of RBs will be able to rush for a thousand yards in this offense.
Without McKinnon this team is 3rd in the NFL in rushing yards, RB is not an issue. Take the $14 to $15 million that Bell would cost and put it towards CBs and pass rushers.

If we get get the #1 pick it will be Joey Bosa and can get a Brandon Graham on the other end. They could easily look to trading for a Ramsey with this years 2nd rd pick and even a first next year. Sign Anthony Barr at SLB with Earl Thomas at Safery. We have more than enough money to do it all of the Niners wanted. They need front line talent not just plug players in.

Le'Veon Bell prefers to sign with Miami Dolphins from FanSided's @MattVerderame on location at the Senior Bowl https://t.co/Gtac9c2dgR
