I know, I'm saying he shouldn't be looking at rb's either way. He needs to be calling Ron Rivera for Kerrigan's availability

The more I think about this and regardless of our current situation, I want him. At least for the remainder of this season. Shanahan would/should maximize his talents. I think he would provide a spark to our team as we could use his run/catch abilities and the confidence boost to our squad. The dude is not some AB malcontent and Gase is an awful head coach who never used him correctly.

because I don't believe these national reports. Remember when the 49ers were close to deals with Andrew Norwell and Allen Robinson? And it turned out we didn't pursue either lol. Agents like to throw teams' names around for leverage. If it's not someone local like Maiocco or national like Rapoport or Schefter, I wouldn't put too much stock into it.

And as far as scheme fit, I don't think this needs much explanation. You guys have seen Kyle's outside zone for years now. He wants his RBs to be decisive and hitting the hole fast. That's the antithesis of Bell's playing style. Sure, he would be fine in 3rd down situations. But Bell ain't worth the headache.

It's CB, OL, DE, QB in that order

Remember Bell couldn't run behind that pathetic Jet OL. He was blessed playing in Pittsburg w/that OL.

Clay Mathews, Cammeron Wake and Kerrigan would fit w/us well.

Chiefs apparently might be a landing spot for him. So the salary cap only applies to 31 teams I guess.

I don't think he's got much left. At least that's what he's shown. Sat out 2018, then spent the last two year hurt? Hard pass
