The no chance in hell of happening Leveon Bell dream thread

I still think with a good OL Hyde and Breida will be a great group. We will have plenty of salary cap space to resign Hyde. If we target Richburg at Center from the Giants, and then get Pugh at Guard, then draft Nelson at 9. I think we have 2 1000 yard backs on our team.

Agree with the premise--although I am not so sure if richburg or pugh are the choice I would make.

Williams has never played a down in the nfl how can you assume he's a 1000 yard back?
Breida looked like a nice #2 in his rookie season, how does that make him a 1000 yard back?

Watching the games, that's how. The interior line play is so bad. 3 out of 4 attempts for either back was a run for a loss or no gain because the interior of the line was getting no push off the line. With a decent line the production of both backs easily doubles imo.
So b

I'll believe it when I see it...guy still hasn't cracked 1,000 yards 4 years into his career.

1K rush yards doesnt define you as an automatically good or bad RB in a backfield that spreads the ball.

Even IF he had 1k yards last two years i wouldnt feel ANY different about Carlos.

Bell can keep dreamin if he wants number 26. That's held by the great Greg Mabin.

If there's something to it then he's an idiot cuz then we're tampering and losing picks.

I don't see how the Steelers improve their weaknesses this off-season if they dedicate a large chunk of their cap room to use the franchise tag on Bell. This is a veteran team that's built to win now, but their current group probably isn't good enough to beat New England or Jacksonville.

I could see their front office thinking long and hard about just letting him walk and drafting his replacement in this loaded RB class.
