Goodwin wins deep, he doesn't do much else.

Gabriel is shifty and does his best in space. He can also win deep though, I think he ran a 4.28

Yeah assuming we get an upgrade at #2... Wouldnt mind trading Goodwin and going after Gabriel as well

Keep Goodwin, bench 4.68 Taylor and run Gabriel as your Slot...

4 WR sets!
Adding a player like him with Goodwin and Taylor would drive defenses nuts. They are so quick and shifty teams would have difficulty defending them.

You obsess way too much over 40 times.
Overkill, much bigger needs at OL, DE, CB, etc. Draft a redzone target in the middle rounds and sign someone for competition. No one is going to unseat Garcon and Goodwin as starters and the upgrade of Gabriel over Taylor doesn't condone the increase in salary.

Trent has more yards and TD than Gabriel this year. Plus Trent only has 4 games with a real QB. Gabriel is 26 and will command millions, while Trent is locked up cheap for the next 3 years.

Its been shown Gabriel can give you some explosive f**king plays in Shannys offense. Bring him in!

I obsess over playmakers. Taylor will pick up yards between the 20's but he's rarely ever going to break one for a long TD.
I wouldn't be against it, but if I could only get 1 WR for us next season it would be someone who can go on the outside. Gabriel is not going to give us a big RZ target.

A receiver's job is to get open. Trent Taylor consistently get open. He's outproduced the majority of receivers picked in front of him, has been incredibly productive on 3rd downs and looks to be a mainstay of this receiving corps in the future.

His 40 time is irrelevant. He's shown he can get open and make plays. He's also started developing chemistry with Garoppolo which shouldn't be understated.

I think if they bring Gabriel in, it would be as a #4 or #5 WR who can be moved around the offense and add a changeup but ultimately I think they will be most focused on an outside receiver with some size that can be a threat in the redzone, as well as potentially another big receiving TE.

The most overrated #5 WR in the NFL?

He's a #5 that produces, and he would come cheap

I don't get the hate. They can bring him in as well as a larger outside WR and redzone TE

I'm not hating on him. I think he's good at what he does. But I don't see what he adds. He would provide more value to another roster. He's getting way overhyped on here for no other reason than he played for Shanahan for short time. He's not better than either Goodwin or Taylor. He doesn't return kicks any better. He's just more of the same.

I get bringing in top tier talent at WR for Goodwin, Taylor, et al. to compete against. But Gabriel is just fodder. May not even make it out of camp.
this guy is not a #1. we need a #1.

But if you cant get a #1.. You dont wanna add a LEGIT spark plug to the offense? Dont forget about Garcon ballin with Jimmy. Dude was ballin with Hoyer lol.
Gabriel is a lock to be a 49er next year. He needs Shanahan.

Depth and playmaking ability is a great thing. He should beat out Robinson, Bourne and McCaffrey. Plus, he'll be cheap and it'll be his 3rd or 4th time in Kyle's offense.
