Taylor Gabriel- RFA

Gabriel + Burton would a nice combo in FA
Still hella on board and i believe he went pretty under the radar without Shanny this year for us to get good value and insurance.
There's always room for this.

I just feel like we can do better Goodwin can do that s**t. Why not draft a guy like DJ Moore who can do that as well? I mean I'd rather have Gabriel to aldrick robinson BUT I'd rather have about 5 other WRs in FA or about 10 other WR in the draft, instead of Taylor. We only have so many roster spots and there's a bunch of draft prospects/NFL WRs id rather have then him.

Won't hate it cause he's an upgrade to our 4-5 WR but I would be underwhelmed

Youre stuck too much on being the "#4 WR". Its all about the snap counts, personnel groupings and how hard in the paint Shanny wants to go.

That play above Taylor cant do in his dreams.. BUT, can you imagine Garcon,Goodwin and Taylor on the field handling the intermediate/deep with the ability to hit a BIG play. Gabriel WOULD HELP open those areas up cause if not good luck letting him catch something in the shallow area with not enough help.

3-3.5 mill sounds great to me. And the beauty NY... PLUG AND PLAY, zero wait for production. Not to mention great insurance incase Goodwin goes down with his ability to take the top off as well.

although i dont agree that Goodwin can do what Gabriel can do, i have jumped on the Moore bandwagon.

Goodwin has really grown into more of a possession receiver/homerun threat. Gabriel is a homerun threat and shifty playmaker that catch screens and run reverses better. I can see alot of packages utilizing both their strengths

I hear ya and If it happens it does....like I said though we only have so many WR roster spots and I'd rather give that spot to a rookie.... Gabriel wasn't some high end draft pick he was a UDFA we can find that imo. Gotta trust our scouts and guys like Peters instead of taking every single player that Kyle has worked with in FA.

Why would ATL let him walk if he was this monster playmaker anyway? Pretty sure ever single team could have a chance at signing him for this cheap contract that we're suppose to be giving him.
No thanks we already have enough slot type of WR's we need a big body redzone target. nuff with these midget WR's

Kyle is a guy who fits scheme to players. Most coaches I have met, talked with, or read about insist on fitting the players to their scheme, whether or not they can do what the scheme asks of them. Gabriel isn't enough of a "universal" talent that he can be a plug and play difference maker, but for an OC who can get him the ball with some space, he can be electric.

Why not both? Injuries happen. Before this season, Goodwin had a reputation for being injury prone. If that happens, wouldn't it be nice to have a TG to bust out?

Yeah there's no way the Patriots win that game yesterday without all those big body WR's making huge catches late in the game.
