You are correct. He is special. Would be ecstatic if somehow we can pull it off.
I hope Lynch working the phones as we speak

Might cost us pick #9. I'm good with giving that up if the trade was followed with a LTD, but I'm sure many here wouldn't like it. You gotta give to get though.

We get him for anything less than #9 and John Lynch will become a legend around here and I'll be over that highway robbery.
not gonna lie some of the photoshopped pics of him in a niner jersey looks sick. But I really doubt we're even gonna call the giants to get a feel for an offer.

How do we trade a 2 for a FQB then justify trading #9 for a top WR? Would love to get OBJ but not for our #9 pick.

I don't see the Giants trading him.

They really should though, I think his best years are behind him (as a Giant). He's injured often now and is a concern off the field.

If the Giants take Rosen then maybe its worth hanging onto him.

lmao often injured? he got one season ending injury once and it was this past year. He is a durable dude, just unfortunately fractured his ankle. It happens.

Concerns off the field are a little troubling but i think overblown. The video was pretty bad but it seems as though he tested negative for anything in his system.

i would maybe be open to swapping our #9 overall with their 2nd round pick for Beckham but giving up our #9 entirely is a hard pill to swallow. Not many players in this league id be okay with making that trade when they are on their last year of their contract

After Foster's recent arrest and OBJ's recent video, I doubt Lynch has any interest.

Because Jimmy was still a backup with potential when we dealt for him and with his pending free agency, the Patriots weren't dealing from a position of strength.

The Giants don't have to trade Beckham and have the ability to control his rights for multiple years. He's also a top 3 player at his position and has yet to turn 26 years old.

It's probably a dream to think you'll get him from them for less than a first round pick. Beckham is also a better player than every single player we could get at #9, so I'm good with moving the pick if that's what it takes to secure him and keeps him away from the Rams/Cards/Seahawks.

not yet

Giants aren't trading him lol

This. Unless they really want the 1st pick in 2020 or a team offers two 1st round picks plus more.

he is getting traded but it wont be niners

This makes a lot of sense for sure. Perhaps the giants could send back there 2nd round pick. #9 and our 5th rounder for OBJ and there 2nd round pick would make this deal work for me.

That trade would be ideal, maybe even throw in other picks if you have too. If the competition for him heats up though and Lynch has to make a competitive offer or bow out, I'd rather him just give up #9, rather than possibly lose him to a division rival.

Beckham will also become the highest paid WR in football if traded for, so that shouldn't worry anyone. You don't give up premium picks for him and not extend him ASAP.
Not in a million years. If he's that good then why would New York ever let him leave in the first place?
Stephen A said it's being reported that OBJ has told Rams players he wants in with them.
