I seriously, seriously doubt that. I have to think they will at least want a second round pick and would get that back. I don't know about a first round pick but I'm pretty sure they could get at a 2nd rd pick and maybe another mid round pick or two.

From our standpoint, I think I would stay away. For the contract aspect of it and I just think he is a head case and we don't a guy like that in our locker room.

Watch the Rams get him for a 2022 6th rd pick LOL. Man imagine that locker room if they did get him though... I could see the Saints or Jaguars making a play for him....

While I wouldn't offer a 1st round pick for him... I'm not worried about the contract. He would only be traded here (or anywhere) unless he agrees to a new deal. Nobody is giving up significant assets for 1 year of ODB. So, in that scenario, Paarag would easily craft a contract that protects the team and allows them to get out of the deal if he does anything that hurts the team. I think the contract is a non-issue.

I would happily pay him $18M+ a year for his play if the contract protected the team from his drama.

What if we did it Jimmy G style: Trade a second round pick (in this case #59) and let him play out the final year of his contract to see if he's a fit before extending him?

Because he's not stepping foot on the field without an extension, regardless of the team.

You laugh but I think there's a real possibility the Rams get him. The Rams are trying to go all out and open their window as wide as possible for the next two years (I believe Goff's contract expires after the 2019 season).

The Rams would probably get him for pick #23 though.

So who's going to see a drop in production? Gordon Landry or OBJ? Wouldn't OBJ want to go somewhere where he can get the production? Cleveland is not that place.

OBJ wants to go somewhere he will get paid. That's it. If winning mattered he would be asking out of NY for those reasons. He just wants money. Players don't care about wins in free agency or new deals. Just cash.
My buddy who's a bears fan said gems gladly give #8 for Odell.. I'd probably do that if I was Chicago.

ARob and Odell would be dirty.

They say no, but if Lynch pulled it off, they'd say he's the greatest GM in history.

Clearly I was referring to locker room distraction
Id trade our 1st round pick and more for ODB. You guys are absolutely out of your minds who are saying "pass" or "nothing more than a 5th round pick."

Thanks to those of you using the word cancer. I now know who have opinions that can be dismissed immediately.

Rams and Browns have the cash.

He'd be really deadly w/Brees throwing the ball.
