Zach Brown LB

This guy is 27 and if I'm not mistaken led the league in tackles last year in BUF. He signed a 1 year deal for 2M with the Redskins this year. If Bowman is gone and he likely will be($12M hit in 2018). We can get this guy for a fraction of the cost for same production
A lot of us here wanted him last off season. Imagine him next to foster..theyd be flying around everywhere. If Bowman doesn't seem to get back to full strength as the year goes on, I'd be fine with dumping him for Brown, but I doubt Wash doesn't extend him with the was he has been playing

they can't pay everyone and cousins. They're going to let either cousins walk and re-sign some of their key players or re-sign cousins and let their other key pieces go.
Malcolm Smith is returning next year.

He will be competing against draft picks and possible free agent targets , he could be a goner

The point is the team already had a chance to sign Zach Brown, and they said no thanks. The team is high on Malcolm Smith, and they're not handing out a big contract with Smith and Reuben on the team. There's a good chance Navorro doesn't make this team if Smith stayed healthy. I think Elijah Lee is also a nice player to develop.

Not sure why people on this forum love to get worked up over things that are apparent, and then cry about it later.

A lot of good ILBs in this draft, Kiser, Victor, Jewell, Evans, Joseph..my fav is Jefferson but he will be gone by the time niners take an ILB..plus I'd rather spend free agency money on offense, Cousins, #1 WR, and Richburg and draft defense and I'm good..

Not my choice, but it is what it is. Saleh loves Malcolm Smith.

I'm curious to see if Elijah Lee can develop into something.

Could take a WILL/MLB in the 3rd. Maybe a SAM with our other 3rd.
Get a pass rusher with one of our first 3 picks.
Whatever gets Coyle and Ray Ray off the field, I support.

Other than trying to bring in someone to compete or groom behind Harold I wouldn't expect much help at LB. I'd love to see another MLB drafted to back up Foster.
