I'm asking because of this. Not sure if the "potential out" is a team option or a player option.
I think it's a team option that many are speculating they use because he's set to make over $25 million in the next two years and the Rams have 2-3 of the top F/A's that need to be addressed as well as looking into long term deals for their stars like DPOY A.Donald (Who sat out demanding a new deal) to Gurly.

I think it's save to assume he's gone.
I'd still want Ziggy over him. Quinn has been dealing with concussions and really only has one pass rush move. Would be a good backup option if we can't land Ansah.
As it stands today (and that could change this year), Saleh only needs another reliable edge rusher for third downs. That essentially is anywhere from 300-500 snaps a year.
Saleh could continue to run his run defense personnel (AA/ST) on early downs and rotate edge rushers for 3rd downs with Marsh, Dumervil + whomever while moving ST inside like last year.
That could be an attraction to an older guy like Galette and Clyburn or an injury prone guy like Attaocho.

Really hoping the Lions don't tag him and we get a chance to sign this guy. What a monster. Aside from his pass rushing ability, his hustle is awesome.

Clayborn is a strong side end.
We need am edge rusher from that side too.
We have guys like Dumervil and or Marsh who can play there on obvious passing downs in the here and now. My hope is to find the LEO this year and next year find a more long term specialist for that side.
